Kill Bill Vol. 3: Uma Thurman Speaks Out
By Spencer Coile
In a late October interview with Access Hollywood, Uma Thurman was asked for her comments on the #MeToo movement. She said that the actions of these women were "commendable" but she had nothing else to say at the time, because, as she put it:
I have been waiting to feel less angry. And when I am ready, I will say what I have to say.
But on Thanksgiving, she was at least partly ready. The Oscar nominee took to Instagram to discuss her feelings surrounding the sexual assault allegations toward Harvey Weinstein...
Paired with an image from her performance in Kill Bill (produced by Weinstein), Thurman released this post to not only express her gratitude, but speak out in retaliation against Weinstein and his "wicked conspirators."
The Instagram caption is a healthy mix of gratefulness and contempt for those in power. Her reference to those "who have the courage to stand up for others" indicates solidarity with those entrenched in the #MeToo movement. Her inclusion of the hashtag supports this idea. However, it is her disdain for Weinstein that is capturing the attention of news outlets and social media -- and for good reason. Her comment is precise and clearly thought-out, but quite vicious. And of course, juxtaposed with a photo of her from Kill Bill, this can only mean that she is out for revenge, and she will not rest until Weinstein and his conpirators are punished.
Thurman, who had worked with Weinstein in the past on films such as Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction, also recently departed from CAA as her agency of the past two years. She concludes her latest post with a vague and slightly ominous "Stay tuned."
While there is so much that we still do not know about her experience, perhaps we should just grab our Hattori Hanzō swords and join Thurman on her crusade for justice.

Go Uma,I am really curious to what she has in store. She is certainly one of the biggest names to come forward.
Love you, Uma.
Is she going on 60 Minutes? There are certainly dozens of pictures of her with Harvey so I will be curious to hear her story. Hopefully a full version since several actresses have downplayed or omitted their real Harvey Weinstein experience.
I would NEVER....E-E-E-E-E *slap* EVER fuck with Uma Thurman. I hope she gets that Hattori Hanzo katana of hers and shank Weinstein like a pig.
Una looks like she's been harmed. By 'co-conspirators,' I hope she's not implying QT. He seems like he know something - could he have written the Kill Bill films because of something he learned.
I'm somewhat tired of trollers bashing Una for stating that she 'made 6 films for Harvey and is smiling is several photos with him.' Granted, from what we're learning about Weinstein - that seems to be his playbook - assaulting actresses then bribe them/shut them up with work. Una seems like she is angry and has something to say.
