stage

Go away Mel Gibson.
Eric Roberts did 48 films in one year. FUCK!!!!!!!! Give that man a major paycheck and have him be in the next Ocean's sequel if it succeeds as Tess' brother who helps bail out the ladies. Then give him and Mickey Rourke a buddy movie so they can both can be rich 4 life. I like Eric Roberts. He is just fucking cool. Give him a fucking Oscar.
Not interested in Passion 2.
That Eric Roberts data is super interesting. I didn't know it was physically posible to do that many movies! I'm impressed, shocked and confused about the whole thing, LOL! Does he has time to watch them?
How many are actually good? And he's "only" positioned at number 11 in the ranking of actors with most acting credits:

Sequels are now the best chance of overdue DPs to win Oscars. Deakins is gonna win now, and I hope Deschanel wins for Passion 2, because he was ROBBED the first time. You may hate the movie, but his Caravaggio-like lensing was astonishing.
cal roth: I agree about Deschanel. The Passion of the Christ is amazingly photographed, and I was really hoping he would win that year. I love Richardson's work in general but I didn't think The Aviator deserved that win.
I wonder how many of those Eric Roberts films were directed by Miike Takashi.
Lol Rupaul probably knows the names of more films in this year’s Oscar lineup than he does queens on his own show
The only way I want The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection is if it involves Sigourney Weaver protecting a newly resurrected Jesus from aliens.
James -- that sounds kind of amazing. But can we still replace Mel Gibson in the director's chair?
Can someone tell me why Richard Roeper buying Twitter followers is a big deal?
MDA --it's maybe not in the grand scheme of things but the problem is that a lot of publications and such view things like social media followings as "influencer" power and it can actually effect how much the writers / tv talking heads / cultural commentator is paid. So it starts to be an ethical question. I'm assuming that's why they suspended him.
I've just seen Eric Roberts playing a bartender in a Enrique Iglesias music video at my gym so anything is possible.
I was wondering what had happened to Eric Robert's career- he is actually is the voice of a talking cat in a movie called "A Talking Cat"
i saw andrew scott in that production of hamlet (with juliet stevenson) and let me say he was out of this world incredible.
That production of Hamlet looks absolutely amazing and I'm so glad Jessica Brown Findlay is in it.
MDA, as Nat went into, if Roeper negotiated a raise based on social media following then that definitely warrants an investigation by them.
Can we all stop pretending Richard Roeper has any taste at all?
@ Nathaniel and Glenn Dunks - thanks for the clarification.
That's interesting, as I never thought of it as being potentially ethically dubious; more-so a professional faux-pas at best (like lying on a resume for example) to being borderline pathetic at worst (it just reeks of narcissism and insecurity).
Andrew Scott. It's only a matter of time before he gets Oscar nominated right? It's all about the right project...
Mama Ru has such exquisite, excellent taste!!
Speaking of drag race... I tink I,Tonya's LaVona's OTT, larger than life, chillingly toxic persona wld make a good drag!! 😁
"Dunkirk" on an airplane?!?!? That it was still impressive speaks to Nolan's skills. Because I KNOW when I saw it in 70mm that was spectacularly impressive.
Eric Roberts should have had a bigger career. He's got talent.
In the spirit of Las Culturistas, I DON'T THINK SO HONEY:
Don't tell me about all the advances the Academy has made, the fact that its director branch put crazy ass anti-semitic sexist abusive Mel Gibson back on the director's short list last year and gave his clunky bloody obvious war movie a best picture nomination just proves how many assholes are still lurking among the voters ready to backlash against women and people of color. And now he's going to push his gory hateful propaganda on us again. Gross. Go away, check back into rehab and shove your nutty ideas back into your evil little brain.
The Academy should honor filmmakers for the quality of their work not because they follow the political correct gestapo. "The Passion of the Christ" was bloody but it was very well done- with some stunning visuals. I really don't see how he is going to make a bloody mess with " The Resurrection" ?!
