62 days until the Oscars

On this countdown occasion, the role of Best Actress 1962 will be played by Miss Anne Bancroft "Dear Joan," Miss Joan Crawford.

If Gaga or Glenn go absent in 62 days who should they have thank them for the gold?

Gaga should have Patti LuPone accept on her behalf.

The ghosts of Irene Dunne, Deborah Kerr, & Thelma Ritter should show up to accept if Glenn doesn't attend, so all four of them can have their moments in the sun.

Cher on behalf of either of the two.

Olivia Colman should have Claire Foy accept as her younger self.

Ke$ha for Gaga (though it won't happen).

Keanu Reeves for Glenn.

Or Toni Collette just accepts for herself in the character of Muriel would be pretty fab.

Barbra Streisand should accept for Lady Gaga and Meryl Streep for Glenn Close.

What was it La Joan was about to say when she switched to « Miss Bancroft »? Am I the only one to hear the beginning of « miss Crawford »?

Meryl Streep should accept Gaga's Oscar if she doesn't show up.

If McCarthy wins and isn't there could we get Kristen Wiig and Rose Byrne to accept it.

I agree with Nathaniel - Madonna in Glenn’s DANGEROUS LIASIONS dress she wore for “Vogue” at the 1990 VMAs, and she makes a joke about being “reductive.”

Amy Adams should accept if Glenn Close doesn't attend and Janelle Monae instead of Lady Gaga

What an incredible list! I've never seen Days of Wine and Roses, but Sweet Bird of Youth is maybe my favorite Geraldine Page screen performance of all time (so far), Anne Bancroft was obviously iconic in The Miracle Worker, Bette Davis was equally as iconic in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, and then one of the Hepburn greats on top of it?

Obviously my choice would be Page but with a list like this, who would be displeased with the outcome?

Crawford for Davis, that's who.

Lol I’ve always wondered what Glenn thinks about having the distinction of being the only person that has lost TWO different Golden Globes to Madonna.
