OK, Nathaniel. And I thought we were friends.

Please everyone....people can look great / feel great / can work / are more dependable / can do “everything” wink wink in their 60’s. I’m 64. Born on the same exact date as Annie Lenox, December 25,1954. I make every effort to take care of myself every single day & look to the future. If I, by chance, I happen to say how old I am - I typically get, “are you kidding?” I don’t really like that! Christie Brinkley, Travolta, Oprah....lots more living to do. Don’t be shocked by vital people in their 60’s. PS - I love Pfeiffer.

This is seither a lot of Photoshop or a lot of Botox. This is not 61!

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterFilmarbeiter

A Creamy Smooth Pop Icon Goddess.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commentermarkgordonuk

Ha! This is very much NOT 61, at least by the standards of us mere mortals.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterQueen Olivia Colman

Love her! I'm glad to see she's working more, but I hope her choices become more interesting/adventurous. The two films she has lined up seem promising.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterthefilmjunkie

Queen 👸🏼

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterMareko

Gorgeous but someone give this woman a movie worthy of her talent

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterJaragon

This is 61 if you have not only fab genes but also a LOT of money.

Most beautiful movie star alive? Isabelle Adjani,Fanny Ardant, Halle Berry, Jennifer Connelly, Rachel Weizs, Lupita.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterAmanda

thefilmjunkie: mother!, where is kyra? heck even wizard of lies to a lesser extent were all interesting/adventurous roles for her and she nailed them, loving this period of her career

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterTR

1958 gave us some of the most beautiful stars alive. Sharon Stone, Angela Bassett, Pfeiffer, Madonna .... the list is truly amazing. All 61, All Amazing!

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterDavid

Her skincare routine is called "Unproblematic."

A Goddess and future Academy Award winner.

"most beautiful movie star alive"

Nah. She was for a long time but no longer. Still looks amazing fir her age tho.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterHuh

The emphasis I on the word "alive"/. Even though there have been nips and tucks and photoshop she is really beautiful.

I do not see her doing a major role in a major movie/

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterrdf

She is the only reason I went to see Maleficent Mistress of Evil and I enjoyed it more than I expected (my expectations were very low, I admit). Of course Michelle is the best thing in it (we know that no one is better at playing evil as evil Michelle, right?), but the movie is frankly not that bad as (north-american) critics are saying.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterFerdi

1958 gave us Annette Bening too. Definitely a GREAT year.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterFerdi

rdf: "I do not see her doing a major role in a major movie"

She has another lead role coming in French Exit which Sony Classics just picked up before filming has started, so that's a major role...we'll see how it turns out, but let's not act like her career is dead. she's been doing great work the last 2 years.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterTR

Thanks for the info on her movie. Great work the last two years.. really???

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterrdf

I'm grateful that she's acting more frequently again. I'm not running to see everything she's doing--as much as I love her, I won't be seeing the Ant Man and Malificent sequels just because she's in them--but she's recently given us great performances in "Mother" and "Where is Kyra." It seems like she's mixing it up a bit more these days--good for her. And she is absolutely gorgeous, obviously.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterJJM

Wow... now she looks great and probably better than ever. Madonna, not so much.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterthevoid99

🎵This hit, that ice cold...

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterTyler

Wow Mareko that list is amazing. I had no idea it was that extensive :)

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterDavid

rdf: YES she has done great work recently, Where is Kyra? (career best raves and a Gotham nomination), mother!, Wizard of Lies (great character work in a bad HBO movie)

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterTR

Mareko: Holy shit man! Great work! That list is amazing!

So much photoshop and some botox as well. At first she looks like Cate Blanchett to me

Both Turn on mind and French Exit sounds interesting

She was the most beautiful actress in the 80s and 90s

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterManuel

She hasn't worked in a decade and her nanny took care of her kids. I would look amazing too.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterNorma Rae

I hate with all my heart this whole "Jane Fonda looks amazing at 80" like this should be the new normal. We're allowed to age. It is so superficial.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterShallow La La La

@TR: true. I just hope she keeps the momentum going. God, it already feels like all of those films came out so long ago!

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterthefilmjunkie

TR. She was good in the movies you named buy NOT great. Great is when no one else could play that role.

October 20, 2019 | Unregistered Commenterrdf

Still waiting for her comeback.

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterJono

Gorgeous! And a good actress too.

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterPete

It seems like she could be on a track that might lead to couple of really good parts in the near future. 2017 demonstrated she clearly still has the talent and is capable of doing really solid work. She also seems more driven and out front than she's been in a while, even compared to her leading lady days. That being said, she needs to look outside Hollywood to find better projects that would showcase her more thoroughly. Even in her prime years I was always frustrated that she seemed so rooted in Hollywood even when the movies were usually subpar. I don't want her to keep popping up in sequals and franchises.

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterPeter

61 if you have all the money in the world, no responsibilities, and a good surgeon. I mean she basically spent most of the past decade doing literally nothing.

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterJason

She can't even smile anymore. She can only play ice-queen bitch roles now

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterZouZou

Looks a bit like Peggy Lipton here. Not like herself, exactly.

I think it's the lighting. If you're going to take pictures of Michelle Pfeiffer, why bother if her bone structure's not catching any shadows?

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterJF

My beloved gays, don't turn us into Barbie dolls!

October 21, 2019 | Unregistered CommenterGloria Steinem

La Pfeiffer is not a mere mortal she is a movie star
