Oh, Sofia. <3

Roger Ebert on her 2006 masterpiece, 'Marie Antoinette': "Every criticism I have read of this film would alter its fragile magic and reduce its romantic and tragic poignancy to the level of an instructional film. This is Sofia Coppola's third film centering on the loneliness of being female and surrounded by a world that knows how to use you but not how to value and understand you."

We really need a "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" on THE BLING RING!!!

The shots inside of Paris Hilton's closets alone deserved the Oscar for Production Design!!!

I think about this movie... far too much.

Watson really should have gotten an Oscar nomination. A PERFECT representation of a spoiled little rich (California) girl.

As to DAVID's point, the shot that Kris Tapley put on his list of top 10 shots of 2013 (from afar, of the mansion they are robbing, slowly zooming in) still sticks in my mind as one of the top 20 maybe top 10 shots of the decade.

I love Bling Ring! Watson definitely should've garnered more attention for it than she got. (She's aces in it.)

Dancin' Dan and Mareko highlight my often (drunkenly raised) point that The Bling Ring is too often reduced to "one of those two movies where Emma Watson isn't terrible).

Which obscures the true MVPs - Katie Chang and Israel Broussard are both WONDERFUL in it... the former makes my Top 10 of 2013 in Leading Actress, while the latter isn't too far away from my Leading Actor Top 10.

The film is great too.

Ah Sofia... the best filmmaker working today.

Ah Sofia you magnificent cunt, fuck those mediocre men snatching attention and backing. (My last comment was uncharacteristically tame and lacking profanity, so I thought I would amend)

Kermit, I love the entire ensemble of The Bling Ring. Chang and Broussard are both fantastic, as are Taissa Farmiga, Claire Julien, and Leslie Mann. It's one of my favorite ensembles in recent memory.
