Boy, could Betty throw shade!
I hope you are all listening to my sister's marvelous podcast, They Coined It.
Bold statement Nathaniel - The Wire and The Leftovers are possibly just above it for me...
I still wish for better film roles for the (non-Elisabeth Moss) actors in the cast - a great ensemble!
Deborah - I've been wishing there was a Mad Men recap podcast! I will subscribe, thank you!
I recommend The Queen's Gambit to Mad Men fans. It's not as good as Mad Men (what is?), but it's still a fascinating look at the '60s through the eyes of a young woman (and you don't need to care about chess to like it). Anya Taylor-Joy is great in the lead role, and it's delightful to see Marielle Heller give a strong performance on screen.
Jules, awesome. I think you'll love it. They're doing one episode per podcast. They then did a Season 1 recap -- I was a guest -- and they've started Season 2.
They had Bryan Batt (Salvatore) as a guest one episode already, and for S2 already have Melinda McGraw (Bobbie Barrett) on deck.
