The last movie I saw in the theater was "1917". When movies reopen I will go every day!

The last movie I saw in the theater was Corpus Christi. When movies reopen I will go every day for at least a week, picking a different to support every day even if the movies are sequels to films I haven’t seen.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Parasite (second viewing). When movies reopen I will still isolate until there is a readily available treatment / vaccine!

March 26, 2020 | Unregistered CommenterRami

An interactive screening of "Little Shop of Horrors". When theaters re-open I will have good intentions but probably not get around to it right away. (How will theaters decide it's ok to re-open?
One chain at a time, by region/market? If studios don't have enough notice to plan a release and ad campaign, what would even be playing?)

March 26, 2020 | Unregistered CommenterDave S.

The last movie I saw in theaters was my second viewing of Parasite. When movie theaters reopen I will have serious doubts about going to theaters that often again because I am paranoid, and have discovered to my horror that a good AV set up paired with Netflix is a delightful experience, especially since there is crowd, noise, and snack control to my very specific requirements. I'll be that bitch who will only go to big event movies (five weeks after its initial release).

The last movie I saw in theaters was Onward. When movie theaters reopen I will see whatever I can because I already miss seeing movies.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Emma.
When movie theaters reopen I will continue to go at least once a week. I have a decent set up at home, but it still can’t beat going to the Universal Citywalk IMAX here in Los Angeles.

I’m confident that theaters, especially smaller indie or flagship theaters here in Los Angeles, will step up their cleaning/maintenance game and make sure they make these policies well known to their audiences to assuage anxieties. Some people won’t return at all, but I love the communal experience too much. Too many good memories have conversations with complete strangers while walking out of the theater after a film.

the last movie i saw in theaters was EMMA. when movie theaters reopen, i will hit the repertory places first as they dont have deep pockets (i'm worried about the small arthouse theaters) and going there was never about new releases anyway but seeing older films in they way they were meant to be seen (communally and with a bigger screen than I have at home).

The last movie I saw in theaters wasThe Invisible Man.

When movie theaters reopen I will support my local independent / nonprofit cinemas.

Last movie: Seberg, though I left about halfway through because the dude in front of me wouldn’t stop watching porn on his bright cell phone screen despite my repeated seat kicking.

I wish I believed movie theaters would open again. Trying every couple minutes to talk myself out of believing this is the end. Not having tremendous success.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Wendy (Yikes!). When movie theaters reopen, I will likely not go for a while because I live in NYC and there's nothing to do here but watch content anyway, so I'd rather spend my time at a local pub making up for all those days stuck indoors!

March 26, 2020 | Unregistered CommenterJoseph

The last movie I saw in theaters was The Invisible Man. When theaters reopen, I will probably wait a couple weeks to go, because I'm immunosuppressed and I have to be really cautious. I so miss moviegoing though!

The last movie I saw in theaters was Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. When movie theaters reopen I will watch whatever arthouse/indie film makes it back to the screen first. I held off on Emma and Portrait of a Woman on Fire and now I don't get to see them onscreen.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). When movie theaters reopen I will hopefully watch Black Widow and any other small film out there at my local multiplex. We need to support the small films.

Whoops. On second thought, after reading the comments, I can see a better plan is supporting the small theatres with my cash. Thanks for setting me on a better road.

Hong Kong actually just closed the movie theaters today, a few weeks after US did so.

The last movie I saw in theaters was A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (a February release in Hong Kong). When movie theaters reopen I will hopefully be watching Soul. I can't imagine missing both Pixar movies in the theaters. That seems really wrong.

March 27, 2020 | Unregistered Commenterkin

The last movie I saw in theaters was The Boy 2, because a friend of mine acted as the director's assistant. And, if that's the last movie that I ever see in the theater then I might as well be taken now. When movie theaters reopen I will spend two full days, open to close, consuming bags of popcorn and allowing my eyes the feast that they have been so excruciatingly denied.
