• Deadline has an interesting series about "most valuable blockbusters" that charts not just the box office but the ad campaigns and more. They're counting down the top 25 of 2019. Hustlers and Little Women began the countdown and now Knives Out shows up at #18.
Broadway Blog the Lucille Lortel awards announce their nominations for the past season in theater. Unfortunately this year we have only seen ONE of the nominees (with theatergoing brutally cut off in the months we usually go a lot, i.e. post Oscars and a day job blocking much theatergoing earlier in the season). Charles Busch's Confessions of Lily Dare is great fun and took several nominations. The one we are saddest to have missed is Jonathan Groff doing Little Shop of Horrors

Umm. You mean "Capone," right? Though I would love to see the Tom-Hardy-as-infamous-gangster-Truman-Capote movie.

Alexis Manenti from Ladj Ly's Les Misérables is also in THE EDDY! He was so riveting (and scary) in that film. He won the César for Most Promising Actor this year.

I hope Sam Raimi does direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I'm eager for the idea of alternate universes and maybe we get Tobey Maguire to return as Spider-Man and then he meets Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

Tom Hardy as Truman Capote -- now that is some stunt casting! I'm now imaging all of Capote with Hardy, rather than PSH; not as good as the original, but still an entertaining daydream.

I would also love to see tom hardy playing the role. Especially I loved his role in Peaky blinders, Alfie Solomons.

Truman Capote reimagined as a mafia boss? I’m on board for this series already...

Oh to see New York residency wasted. Possibly head back to your home state and sublet to Cláudio the star to do the big city schmoozing? After Corona of course.

Jonathan Groff was astounding in Little Shop...sheer perfection.

I can't wait to see The Eddy, even though plot-wise it looks not so good. But I love how different it looks from La La Land, and Chazelle is such a great director.
