Using "Starman" in that Buzz Lightyear trailer... Pixar you assholes. You had to make me cry and sing that song.
It has anything to do with the cancellation but Sarah Silverman complained about Kathryn Hahn not being jewish (I thought she was!). She recites quite a long list of jewish characters played by gentiles recently and it's quite long.
Please keep posting interviews with British actors. They're so articulate! Probably that's why they're so good.
RIP James Michael Taylor... Gunther was always a fan favorite and the 7th "friend"... it was a pity that they never fully developed the character, during the 10 seasons.
Trainspotting is still - for me - the best film of the 90s. A rare case, by the way, in which I would have given Best Supporting Actor to Ewen Bremner, and then, years after, give him again another Beest Supporting Actor to him, for the sequel... irony being, that before the film, in the stage play, he played Renton, not Spud, and had to play Spud because Boyle's friend was warranted the film role (Ewan and Ewen are known to be besties, though!)
@Peggy Sue. Yeah, I like Sarah Silverman, but Kathryn Hahn regardless of her religion or ethnicity was PERFECT for that role. And honestly, how many Jews has Meryl Streep played successfully? I wonder if Silverman secretly thought the part would be hers?
And yes, re British actors, except Thomasin is from New Zealand. Rose Matafeo would have you on the floor for that slight. lol.
