Funny to see how movie stars fall with class while when I do I crush my butt stupidly.

I'm really into Jennifer Lawrence, I think she's a very interesting actress and I like her personality, but I cannot deffend her oscar win. I hopped it aged well as Emma Stone's did - another young actress who beat a French legend - but it hasn't. La la land is easily to be remembed with warm feelings while Silver Linning Playbook, not really, it was just an ok movie. I'm not sure what would be next with Lawrence and the Academy. For once, they continue to nominate her to prove the great actress she is, but that win still hurts. I feel in 5 or 10 years Jennifer Lawrence will redeem herself with a terrific dramatic performance and the Academy will honor her again claiming that's why she's in the club, ala Elizabeth Taylor.

I would have loved to have seen Huppert win for her stunning and fearless performance in "Elle," but Stone won it on sheer star power. She glowed in "La La Land," a movie with a soundtrack I still adore. Some actresses get their Oscars through the combo of star power and acting. Examples include Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, JLaw, and, in the most infamous case, Marisa Tomei. Were they the best of the year? Arguably not. But when an actor is at peak super nova, Oscar blindly rewards him/her. And I'm okay with that. These are the performances you remember and watch over and over.
