First and Last, Our Great Nation.

The first image and the last line from a motion picture.

I present this in the hope that our great nations may learn to live in peace.

Can you guess the movie?

check your guess after the jump.

Congrats to SVG and Eric who were the first to correctly identify this as Escape From New York starring Kurt Russell.

Before reading the comments all I remembered was Kurt Russell and rattlesnake, the title escaped me (and seriously, no pun intended).

It's Escape From New York. I just watched it on Netflix Watch Instantly.

100% Escape from New York. Has always been one of my favorite movies. The three movie run from Russell and Carpenter (Escape from New York, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China) pretty much defined my childhood.

Netflix Instant is a gulity pleasure...I just had a John Carpenter mini-Marathon...The Thing, Village of the Damned...now I gotta see Escape from New York and revisit Big Trouble...and Wilford Brimley in The Thing rocked...if i had any say, I would have nominated him in supporting actor!

NWI has 7 John Carpenter feature films right now (as well as 2 episodes of Master of Horror) and Prince of Darkness is coming in the next month or so.
