Bridesmaids To Bring Us Joy on Oscar Night
Friday, January 27, 2012 at 9:13PM Whether or not they win Ensemble at the SAG Awards on Sunday night -- be right here for the live blogging! --we'll see all six principal cast members of the hit comedy at the Oscars. They're the first announced presenters and the press release says that
This will mark the first Oscars appearances for all six actresses"
Hmmm. That must mean on the stage since hasn't Maya Rudolph been there with her man Paul Thomas Anderson for like There Will Be Blood or something? I can't remember.
This news filled me with a rainbow burst of happiness but I'm going to be so sad if they don't sing at least one bar of Wilson Phillips.

Five of them can model the costume nominees, and Kristen can announce the winner.
My Dream: The six lovely ladies escort the nine golden retriever puppies out onto the stage to present "Best Performance by a Canine Actor." Uggie is the runaway favorite, but the surprise winner is Cosmo as "Arthur" from Beginners. After all, Cosmo could "talk."
Knowing Oscar, though, they'll probably just be asked to present Best Sound Editing/Mixing with a jokes thrown in about the sound during the poop scene. :(

It has to be costume design and maybe hair + makeup too, since there is 6 of them they may want them to be on stage for longer than 1 presentation. With costume design they can surely have a bitchy contest about who's best dressed and they may start sh***ing in their dresses too!
I'd love to see them all model the costume nominees actually, that's be hilarious.
I think Rita Moreno should present best picture. West Side Story won 50 years ago and so did she. It seems right.
