Red Carpet Arrivals
I shan't be live-blogging the awards tonight -- I miss too much of the show when I do that but expect some tweets here and there and lots of post-mortem recapping tomorrow ALL DAY. But for now a few arrivals...

oh my Catherine Zeta Jones is looking MAJOR
I was a huge fan of Lori Singer. Too bad I never tried cello!
Jane Fonda just high fived Jacki Weaver.
Amanda is the best!
They are talking to Anne Hathaway on the red carpet, she talking about her soul mate and I just want to reach through the TV and smack her!
So I can at least take solace in Chastain not winning, looking like a million bucks (FINALLY!!!!).
Zoe Saldana's favorite movie is The Hunger? That's an interesting choice, Zoe.
What time does the real deal start?
I just saw a commercial for the Oscars that started with a voice saying "And the nominees are.." and then proceeded to show some clips from all of the Best Picture nominees (without sound, since they were playing music over them), but they totally did not show anything from Amour. What gives?
Nathaniel, before the madness sets in, I just want to thank you for how intelligent, entertaining and level-headed your Oscar season coverage has been. Even though Ampass still makes me mad, reading your take on the race has been a consistent pleasure. And it's made me very happy to see someone who really cares about these things land gigs with CNN and Huffpost and ABC Australia (just so you know, Julian Morrow is a bit of an icon in these regions), not to mention interviews with Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain etc.
Edwin -- laziness?
Iggy - 8:30
Christine -- i know she loves "Hunger" with Fassbender. But "The hunger" too. hmmmm
Not showing Amour reminds me that I am pretty certain not a frame of Tree of Life was shown in the Best Picture nominee montage at all last year.... and they played the musical score from Moneyball (also strange).
Anyone knows a good live streaming website ?
Is there a live streaming link?
I want RIVA !!
Adele looks classy until she speaks. Love her anyway!
Ah, I thought she said The Hunger. Perhaps I was mistaken? She also said she loved American Werewolf in Paris (eta, not even Werewolf in London, but PARIS) ; so, maybe I just thought she loved campy horror.
Damn. Anne really nailed that silly Oscar mystery item. I mean, how the hell did she manage to guess that?
Charlize has THE WALK. I'm silently queening out at how she works it.
Salma Hayek looks like a James Bond villain and i love her for that.
Nicole Kidman looks like an ocean oil spill. Especially with the shells at the bottom. Still looks great.
I loooooove Naomis dress!
Renee Zellweger came out of hiding! I feel like I haven't seen her for like seven years. Seems like she was busy getting botox ...
yeah botox for everybody!!
Also, I got the mystery item right! I guessed the ruby slippers from Wiz of Oz when Bradley Cooper was up there, and then Anne said it and was right. I took that as a sign that there's no way she will lose tonight.
Naomi Watts is best dressed!!
OMG!! Didn't we all melt a little bit with that reaction shot of Nicole when they cut the Cinematography winner off? :)
This channel was way better than E! They barely spoke to anybody over the entire three hours and just kept discussing the same stuff over and over. Yawn.
Jane Fonda is still a screen goddess.
