I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by AMY ADAMS and asked Pharrell IF MERYL STREEP COULD WHERE his hat. On my way out I would have GIVEN A BEAR HUG TO JUNE SQUIBB even though I voted for SALLY HAWKINS.

I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by Lupita and asked Pharrell to please remove his hat. On my way out I would have tickled Leo even though I voted for Matthew.

I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by SPIKE JONZE and asked Pharrell TO GIVE THE OSCAR STATUE his hat. On my way out I would have DANCED WITH SALLY HAWKINS even though I voted for LUPITA NYONG'O.

That picture has a ridiculously disproportionate amount of dudes.

I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat next to Lupita Nyong'o (or maybe Michael Fassbender/Bradley Cooper if I'm feeling particulatrly...frisky) and asked Pharrell to make a miniature replica of his hat for his Oscar if he wins. On my way out I would've told Sally Hawkins how happy I am for her even though I voted for Lupita.

*I heard Sally and Michael weren't there, but oh well...

Philip -- awww, a minature hat for Pharrell's Oscar. that's adorable. Hopefully he won't need one, though.

ryan t - spike jonze. smart move. good conversation maybe. or odd conversation. either way memorable

John -- are you sure? Leo doesn't look like the tickling kind

Jordan -- the internet would break if Meryl Streep wore that hat

I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by Julie Delpy and asked Pharrell if I could smuggle Michael Fassbender out of here with me in his hat. On my way out I would have belted Let It Go even though I voted for The Wind Rises.

Hi Nat! Do you have access to those pics where the nominees from the same category pose together. I'd love to see the ones for the acting nominations!
Just wondering. :)

Tom Hanks.

All I see in the picture are suits, suits and more suits. Can somebody count how many ladies are there in the picture, and how many percentage out of the total? 10%?

February 11, 2014 | Unregistered CommenterPJ

I count 130 people 29 of which are women so... 22%? Of course this isn't all of the nominees since some didn't show but it's a good sampling.

...I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by Bale (since Fassy wasn't there) and asked Pharrell where he got his hat. On my way out I would have kissed Meryl's hand even though I voted for Cate.

Does anyone know who's the woman on bottom left corner who looks like a cross between Holly Hunter and Jennifer Aniston?

Here's a larger version of the picture:

I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by SPIKE JONZE (pinched his ass) and asked Pharrell TO DO THE VOICE OF A MINION. On my way out I would have GUSHED TO AMY ADAMS even though I voted for CATE BLANCHETT.

February 11, 2014 | Unregistered CommenterRyan

Jan - thank you. I've updated the post with the much larger photo.

I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by Martin Scorsese and asked Pharrell to please, just for the picture, remove his hat. On my way out I would have gushed over Bono (and begged him to sing the chorus of With Or Without You to me) even though I voted for Let It Go.

February 11, 2014 | Unregistered Commenterdenny

.I would have bee-lined right to the empty seat by CATE BLANCHETT and asked Pharrell WHAt IS INSIDE his hat. On my way out I would have KISSED CHRISTIAN BALE even though I voted for LEONARDO DI CAPRIO.

More proof that actors really are the world's most beautiful people. Just look at Leo and Cate. Hand-crafted while the rest of us are assembly line.
