Red Carpet Lineup: Glam Leftovers!
We've already gazed at one of the most beautiful quartets Oscar has ever chosen, as well as the nominated ladies. Herewith more Oscar gowns and tuxes to go. Presented without commentary and without much in the way of photoshopping after the jump because time is running short, I'm running on fumes, and surely you're eager to move on!
Still, we'd like a visual record posted, wouldn't you? Whose look were you wild about Sunday night and whose looks made you drove you to madness, but not the good kind?

As much as I hate her film choices, Kate Hudson looked STUNNING. And of course Charlize and Angelina. Also thought Naomi Watts looked very beautiful as well.
God, I didn't even realize Naomi was there. Brave considering the year in film she had.
Bette looked fabulous, while Goldie, who's 10 days Bette's senior, looks...not so. (Cut. That. Hair. Girl!)
And Angelina's pneumaticness, given her knife-thinness, is 50 shades of ridiculous.
Aaron--- Kate Hudson looked like a trillion bucks!!!! She was smoldering hot in that dress!!!!
Chiwetel looked great but for...the hair. I understand, as someone who has gone through no less than 20 barbers in my lifetime, including my father (that was a difficult conversation) that a good barber is hard to find, but brother looks like he hasn't had his hairline dealt with in a very long time. Someone on twitter put it beautifully that it's a "12 Years since a lineup" situation. You've got to take care of your hairline as a black man. This is a must.
Jennifer Garner is my favorite of the group above. Hudson almost always hits it (Venice for the The Reluctant Fundamentalist is still the top). I also liked Naomi. Of the guys, Bradley is tops (and usually looks right). Leo was sharp and I liked Leto more than MM. But Will Smith should have been slapped and told to go home and put on a tie.
Goldie needs to start dressing a little closer to her age, not her daughters.
The very good:
Charlize, Chiwetel, Kate Hudson and Brad and Angelina.
The good:
Bradley, Chris Evans and Hemsworth and Jennifer Garner
Meh:
Naomi Watts-her dress is nice but her hair is too 80's
Lady Gaga-She's trying too hard
Harrison & Calista-He looks pretty good, she looks like Nancy Reagan
Bette-The dress suits her but it doesn't really compliment her.
Jeremy Renner-The white bow tie ruins it.
Alfre Woodard-Maybe it looks better in person but in the picture the dress makes her look stout.
The bad:
Sarah Paulson-Too matronly and the fit seems off.
Emma Watson-I don't remember this looking as bad when she was on stage but it's not becoming.
Jared Leto-He looks like a waiter and the hair! I know its what he's comfortable with but it really detracts from his looks.
Goldie-It's the same damn dress and hairstyle she's been wearing for the last two decades.
The very bad:
Anna Kendrick-What is going on with what she's wearing, it's a horror.
Will Smith-You're presenting best picture, wear a tie! Yeesh! Too casual for the occasion.
The worst:
Sorry Liza but you win or rather lose. Love her and they treated Lorna, Joey and she very shabbily but that outfit is ghastly on every level.
I miss Chiwetel's sexy beard from the BAFTAs.
Seriously? Ya'll giving Will Smith shit for not wearing a tie? He looks fine. Casual chic. He was comfortable and looked good.
I don't want to move on...
I can't stand white tuxedos.
Jason Sudeikis was the hottest guy on the red carpet. More please!
Loved Emma Watson and Bette's other dress.
Poor Liza! First Ellen's joke and now you classify her as "glam leftovers" lol. I thought everyone was kind of meh. No great indisputable red carpet queens nor big failures.
I hate the color of Paulson's (and Hawkins and Blanchett) dress. Because the world needed to know that.
Bette looked amazing (both gowns). Sometimes the older ladies can descend into frumpiness, but she was one of the best dressed of the night.
Jeremy is so dapper with the white bow tie. He looks like he's dressed for a screwball comedy from the '30s. I loved Bill Murray's colorful bow tie as well.
I will be the dissenting voice, but I truly loved Goldie Hawn's look, hair and contagious joy to be there. I don't get the criticism about not looking her age, as if she were acting out of desperation to still appear relevant, when she was clearly just being herself. She's surely had a few too many appointments with the "dentist", but apart from that, I really appreciated her presence on the red carpet. I wish more women grew to be her age as riveting, well-humored and proud of their sexuality as Goldie.
And the extra kicker of Kate Hudson being the best look of the night, followed closely by Charlize Theron. I loved Lupita best among the nominees, especially in the shots of her with her Oscar in the white room, but Theron and Hudson were the top looks of the night!
On the male side, I was all about the Chrises. Those are two fine looking gentlemen, I tell ya!
Oh, and, in anyone else, Liza's royal blue combo would have been a hot mess, but it's Liza, so I give it a pass. More than a pass, I think (and I can imagine her saying it) she looks TERRIFIC!!
I loved Charlize's look a lot. Just a fantastic dress.
And I'll second Carmen Sandiego on just being happy to see Goldie on an awards stage. I just wish she'd rehearsed in front of someone who could tell her that the right way to introduce Steve McQueen's film is not:
12 Years... A Slave!
I called Emma Watson best dressed on Twitter the minute I saw her and got crickets, and then everybody ripped her apart on Fashion Police the other night, so I guess I'm in the minority but I looooooooooove that dress. It's exactly what I would want to wear if I was a girl. Simple and shimmery and those symmetrical details down the length of it, ugh, it makes me tremble with fashion envy.
Of the men, I liked Will Smith's ascot the best.
