Empire Daniel Craig suddenly drops out of Renée Zellweger's possible comeback vehicle The Whole Truth, which was supposed to start filming right now. The Zeéeeee is still having trouble getting back out there.
In Contention Hilary Swank has not one but two Oscar plays for 2014: You're Not You (in which she plays a woman suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease) and The Homesman in which she transports crazy women across the States in the western helmed by Tommy Lee Jones. I'd bet on the latter (if not for Swank since the showy roles are probably the crazies) and if You're Not You is any good I'll steel myself for absurd category fraud since it sounds like Emmy Rossum is definitely her co-lead.

You just know Hunter will play someone's mother or grandmother. I'll never forgive her for turning down the Helen Hunt role for As Good As It Gets—she would have had a second Oscar and probably a better career trajectory than she has now.
Batman v. Superman:
So, based on recent casting, we've likely got up to five heroes officially in this mess right now:
Batman (Ben Affleck)
Superman (Henry Cavill)
Katana/Cassandra Cain (Tao Okamoto) (It'll be one of these two, so the only question is what name and costume they will choose.)
Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot)
The Flash (Callan Mulvey) (They can't be stupid enough to have their Batman and their Robin be separated by only two years of aging and they're not going to do a white guy as Green Lantern again after the Ryan Reynolds thing, so this is the only previously rumored hero slot left open.)
Warner Bros: Does Spider-Man 3 ring any bells? Seriously, this is crowded beyond belief because you think this plays "catch-up" even as it does nothing of the kind.

Not a fan of Fallon but I must admit he has a very well-produced show with lots of material ripe to be Youtube clips; fun stuff.
I think Anne Hathaway is supremely talented; needs another Rachel Getting Married-type role, or maybe a suffering-for-her-music character (please no more Heigel-esque rom-coms.) It's her earnest, aw shucks, but most eager girl in the room public persona that drives folks crazy.
MDA--Fallon's retooled show has been great. Lots of fun stuff and celebrity guests who are game for anything.
