What about LA Film Critics and National Society of Film Critics? Have they not announced dates yet?

I honestly hope "What we do in the Shadows" is featured ANYwhere in your film bitch awards... I'd say Original Screenplay should be a lock already... even if only as "special mention".

brooooke -- couldn't find a date on that. their website only lists their awards ceremony date.

MARK - that would surprise me since the studio has always expressed their wishes for her to be "supporting" and the studios get to pick categories for SAG, not the voters.

Hi,

The BAFTA nominations are Friday 8 January:

Seems slightly daunting doesn't it. Poor Nathaniel - this is like your "to do" list for the next 2 months. Start taking those vitamins.

It's so weird now that SAG is announcing nominees BEFORE HFPA. I remember last year Naomi Watts' random supporting actress nomination looked like the beginning of an outside shot for exactly TWO DAYS. And then the Globes set it straight.

I'm not accustomed to Globe nominations determining whether a SAG nomination was a fluke. For so many years it was the other way around. I assume SAG moved theirs up as a power play to give them *FIRST* attention. But what it means now is that their pet nominations lose steam rather than gain it once HFPA announces.

The Film Bitch Awards are always my favorite.
