This is such an internet meme in waiting.

Tyler & Troy -- true x 2

i think she shoulda worn this on opening night instead of that boring red number

"Lupita, guuurrrrllll. Am I killing it it? I think I'm killing it."

She's giving me Julianne Moore in the face for some reason. Is it weird that every time I think of her I think of her reading of the line "We must do something, senator" in The Phantom Menace? And why does it seem like no one seems to remember or acknowledge her Oscar nod for Closer? Do we pretend that it didn't happen?

This photo has elicited so many thoughts...

I do. She was marvelous in Closer, although a tad young for the part, no?

OMG i thought it was Jennifer Garner! I'm like when was Jennifer Garner in Closer?? ha

Michelle Visage: "This is reading BOY to me."

Natalie is beautiful but I don't think I'd wear this dress if I were her. Does nothing for her frame or figure. Kind of drowning on the bottom and unflattering on the top. Maybe her height is the reason.

Dang, I really did not miss her and I wouldn't mind if she retired permanently from acting like, tomorrow.

Sorry Nathaniel, after reminding me of Portman's poor performance in "The Other Boleyn Girl" I can't get excited by her return. I just think there are more talented actresses out there I would rather see instead.
I will admit that green certainly suits her, both today and in yesterday's photo.

Sorry I just could care less that she's back after her comment about not knowing where her Oscar is and not really caring. She campaigned for it shamelessly, not that her win wasn't merited, and now that she's got it she's trying to act like she's an ARTIST and above such paltry things as prizes. Is it as important as her child or her marriage? Of course not but it is the top prize in her profession so even if you're feeling disenchanted, say it was nice to be acknowledged and keep the rest to yourself.

As far as the dress, the color flatters her but the dress is wearing her not the other way around.

there's nothing arousing, enticing or sexy about this woman . She's quite dull if you ask me . And she isn't a great actress either . That's what a friend of mine told me about her , i disagreed with him ,but now i think he was right . I 've just seen some Theron's pictures , and I don't want to be mean , but you can't compare . I still think she's a decent actress but nothing else .

joel6-I do agree, that rubbed me the wrong way. She clearly wanted that Oscar in a big way, and worked hard to get it. I think she did that because she knew, at least up until SAG, that she wasn't a slam dunk (Annette could have just as easily taken it if she'd played the "I'm an artist" card). She's a very talented actress, but I'm not wild about some of her offscreen comments. I feel in a lot of ways about her the way I feel about Sean Penn.

Cute picture, though.

Also not wild, about her and her choices are awful bar her nominated turns and the flaws are starting to show in BS,I thought Julia was more successful in her interpretation on Anna in Closer and wonered how weird it was that no one cited Julia in the 04 Oscar season but this was backlash time for Julia after her smugness at the Oscars in 02.

May 21, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterMARK

I think people would adore her if she were less successful. The same goes for Lawrence.

maybe she is practicing her Ginsburg face? So many projects coming her way she might be getting Oscar #2

For being one of the strongest performances to win best actress in recent memory she sure does get lots of hate on this blog.
