Happy Merylmas !
Last year we celebrated Meryl Streep's birthday with a list of 65 appropriate ways to celebrate... and all of those still apply, so click over there and do them today. To add a 66th item for her 2015 birthday, rewatch the trailers to Ricki & The Flash and Suffragette or just daydream about Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) in which she plays a terrible opera singer
Happy Merylmas. If you're not following our instructions, how are you celebrating?

Congress should make today a national holiday.
That picture is PERFECT.
After watching Kramer vs. Kramer recently I need another role like that from Meryl. Sure she's been great forever but I need another low key relaxed role which is why I look forward to Ricki. It looks like a more relaxed performance. I am saddened that since her 65th birthday we have lost Mike Nichols one of her frequent collaborators and we have probably lose Streep ever doing Master Class which in relation to Florence is the complete opposite. In master class she would have played Maria Calles and it would have been a great role for Streep but without Nichols I never want to see it happen.
How about listening to an audiobook performance by Meryl Streep.
66 years old! She has an incredible bone structure. When she smiles, her wrinkles all but disappear.
Where to begin? I feel like this being such a pride filled week, I will watch "Angels in America," remembering the friends now departed who are unable to see marriage equality so close. Never forget! The insurance coverage denied, the visitation rights disregarded, the fact that Reagan refused to even acknowledge the plague for years....but I digress. Happy Birthday, Meryl: an ally always.
I believe her fourth Oscar will come in her 70's. The Iron Lady win satisfies the nearly three decade long drought she went without an Oscar win. Everything she has lined up looks good on paper and would be a threat to win for other actresses. But her reputation as the best makes her non-competitive for everything bait-y.
For her birthday, I am going to stare at the first three on this page for a few minutes.
Happy Birthday to the queen of cinema, like good wine she just gets better with age.

Looking forward to reading her Michelle Obama interview. They should really share some of those cheekbones!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MERYL STREEP!
I wish you a fourth Oscar and World's domination.
I learned today that she and Elizabeth Warren were born on the same day! What a day for women I love!
Today my parents also celebrate 58 years of marriage. Wow!
Is interesting that Meryl Streep and Elizabeth Warren share the same birthday.
She is 66? Wow, she gets props for remaining youthful and vital. I tried to imagine a Kramer remake with Jennifer Lawrence and Ryan Gosling, but it may be too indelible for its time. Streep has been a real trailblazer for actors. Fearless and seemingly endless range. Great lady.
