Lourdes is so beautiful!

I somehow didn't realize A Very Murray Christmas was Coppola's work. The Bling Ring and The Virgin Suicides are probably my favorites from her, though all her films are worth discussing. Emma Watson made my personal awards for The Bling Ring.

WHY WON'T THE UNIVERSE LET ME SEE THE LITTLE PRINCE? Goddamnit.

They must be holding "The Little Prince" until it can play on a double bill with "The Lobster".

Can we add some very sad news about one legendary actress?

Nastassja Kinski is currently competing in 'Let's Dance' (the German version of 'Dancing with the Stars'), and she seems very, very uncomfortable being in the spotlight of a reality TV show (clips should be easy to find on the internet, and her body language speaks volumes). This treatment of an actress who is known to be an introvert (unlike her father) and should be a national treasure really terrifies me.

(And yes, it was her decision to sign the contract, but she certainly wouldn't have done this if she got the real work she deserves.)

It's M-I-Double N,
then-E-Double L-I,
You double up the N, thats nn, not ll
Then E, double the L, end it with an I,
That's the way you say Minnelli...

Anyone else really happy that Mary Elizabeth Winstead has decided to move back into the limelight? Not that I blame her for deciding to go for smaller films for a few years, but she's just one of those actresses who makes every film she's in just a bit better.

"Miss Saigon" isn't exactly the type of movie that Hollywood should be making as it's trying to tell people that the film industry isn't racist.

Lea Salonga still looks the dame 25 years later, so I can dream she will be cast in the role. But who am I kidding? It's going to be Anne Hathaway.

@Brezz - right? Me, too. When I think about where Private Benjamin went, how it started with her as the privileged bubblehead but then developed into something so much more, I wonder if it would even get made today (and not with Jessica Simpson in a remake).

March 14, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterDJDeeJay

DJDeeJay: If Hollywood still wants to remake Private Benjamin, I'd honestly see JLaw doing a remake of it as the best choice, even as she's kind of over exposed. Instead, we're possibly getting...Rebel Wilson? That's an interesting choice, even if I'm not entirely sure how that would work.

March 15, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterVolvagia

@Volvagia - first of all, I hope it never happens no matter what. Secondly, although I think J. Law has the comedic timing for it, I'm not sure she's exactly right. She's too grounded and has been pushing her "i'm so normal" persona so hard that I'm not sure it'd work. Wilson as a stuck-up, high-class daddy's girl, though? I think it could be really interesting in a good way (but even though I think she's funny, I'm not convinced she's as hysterical as her biggest fans seem to think she is).
