I'm strongly against censorship so I totally oppose Sky Arts decision to cancel Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon due to the criticism on Twitter.
The Defenders photos: 1. That group shot is really good, probably the best of the 13 promo shots. 2. I'm kind of wondering who gets "the movie" after The Defenders. Unless a third season fixes that, Daredevil blew up it's own premise (if he's not superhero AND lawyer, there's less to him than Doctor Mid-Nite, so any prospective film would have to do heavy lifting on getting him to re-embrace being a lawyer), Iron Fist's premise is too anachronistic, Luke Cage doesn't have the material and Jessica Jones only has one film worthy story, though the one she does have, involving a tape with a superhero's secret identity on it, is a much lower budget corker that could be made for $30-40 million. Drop a surprise adaptation of that in the middle of Oscar Season (say the suspiciously empty November 2018?) and watch what critics make of it.
Any updates on the rest of the Oscar charts :) ?
Off topic: The Republicans are putting a hatchet to the bleeping Endangered Species Act! Do whatever you want to this species. Leave other species out of your evil!
We will all be endangered species by the time they're done.
@Peggy Sue - is it censorship or is it just the market responding to consumer feedback?
