A film about gay black love won best picture. Im so in love with the 'out of touch liberals' in my industry. 💖 https://t.co/qZYHgXQPvz

Not seeing as many "Rules Don't Apply" jokes as I had expected this morning, which is encouraging in a sense

I'd forgotten how nice it is to wake up to find something crazy happened and it has nothing to do with the president of the United States.

I was stone cold sober when I told the party "I feel Janelle Monae can perhaps control the tides with her mind" and no one denied this truth

MOONLIGHT wasn't my favourite nominee, but it's a thrilling winner: demographically, thematically and aesthetically new for the Academy.

You invite Mel Gibson back and give his movie some awards, everything else goes to shit. This is what you get, Hollywood.

I'll give 50-1 odds to anyone that the first joke in the 2018 Oscars monologue, no matter who hosts, will be about the envelope snafu.

I do love that while Twitter's all mean and sneering about it, every photo is of the Moonlight and La La Land people hugging each other.

Miguel Rios FTW!
Also, I just looked at the Film Bitch Awards. Pine's second mention! <3 <3 <3
That Nick Davis tweet is everything. Just... sublime.

Morning after ---- i still think this was best possible end of awards season. Could not have dreamt it up better. LaLa Land won a bunch of deserved awards. I would not have awarded Emma and Chazelle but at least they're kind of adorable. Barry Jenkins is here to stay anyways. Nicole and Meryl managed to trend despite not standing a chance in hell because that's what Divas do. Isabelle Huppert got to go back to France and tell everyone about all the American craziest. Moonlight is best pic of the year. Viola is an oscar winner. Jimmy Kimmel did a great job.
Saddest moment ---- Amy Adams. There was a distinct air of "Got fucked by AMPAS"
I was enthralled by Nicole's many variations on clapping. She is so versatile.
The Brie Larson tweet. So many feels.
