All this hate for Cats is making me happy. I hope this serves as a lesson of what not to do and have Tom Hooper given a fate worse than what Michael Cimino had for Heaven's Gate (which is still a brilliant yet flawed film).
If the industry can’t rescind Oscars, can they at least mandate studios advertise every future Tom Hooper project as “from the Oscar-winning director of Cats.”
