Black Christmas is low key an excellent movie on its own terms and it’s actually genuinely unnerving. For a slasher film it’s also exceptionally well written and very obvious hard work and attention was paid in putting it together. A personal favorite.
I know people have their (justified) complaints about this year, but I love being able to read critics' year-end lists and finding that I can stream practically every film I haven't seen (I'm still waiting for Promising Young Woman, though).
The original "Black Christmas" is great thriller with a really disturbing psycho voice on the phone
Sir Ian McKellen is doing MDA by now.
Bad Bunny... ew.... then again, I hate today's music. I'm 40 years old with back pain that I got a couple of days ago carrying a storage box full of Encyclopedias from 1989 and I am not going to bother with today's shit. I'll just stick to what I know and love.
I may not like Tom Cruise as a person or as an actor but he was right about what happens when a bunch of people don't follow protocols during a pandemic. He went nuts but for the right reasons. I could still take him in a fight.
@Peggy Sue - uhhh...
