Good for John Boyega. I was really disgusted at how the last Star Wars movie really sidelined the characters of colour and gave a gay character a women love interest. Basically they let all those straight white bros who bullied Kelly Marie Tran win. Thanks for nothing, Disney.

Daisy Ridley and John Boyega’s jobs nowadays are complaining that they actually can’t get any jobs. It gets boring. Next, please.

Boyega should star in " The Jesse Smollet Story" meanwhile Oscar Isacc is to busy starring in "Dune"

I'm with Boyega about what happened to his role in The Rise of Skywalker. He was such a prominent figure in the trilogy and in the last film. He doesn't do much but scream "Rey" or be a side character with not much to do. I blame J.J. Abrams and Disney for giving in to the worst kind of fanboys. It just adds to the growing disappointment I have over the last film.

@F- Star Wars gives actors bad luck when they star in it. Harrison Ford had a career afterwards but his costars had nothing close. Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor survived the prequels while Hayden Christenson disappeared. Who knows where the sequel actors will go. Issac is still getting work but his quality was so much better before the franchise got him.

Jaragon - It’s “Jussie.” I don’t care for the man, but I care even less for racists who can’t read chyrons and news headlines.

Absolutely bizarre that John would defend JJ when it's JJ's bullshit mystery box bait and switch in TFA and his complete and total incompetence in regard to everything in TROS that sidelined his character. He has legitimate complaints about his experiences of course but he's also a sexist asshole who was pretty awful to Kelly Marie Tran (going so far as to crop her out of photos he posted on his twitter during TROS promotion) so I'm not exactly rooting for the guy. Thank god Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac are free of those imbeciles.

@Bradley gave a gay character a love interest? Sounds like you have red too much fanon. Finns arc was always about Rey he was yelling about but for some reason there was not even a conclusion. And regarding Poe there was no indication in actual films he wad gay either (or do you think letting someone keep a jacket after saving your life is gay?).

The Poe Dameron gay romance was never going to happen- Disney markets "Star Wars" as family films and they only have throw away gay characters which can be cut when the film is released in China. Boyega might not be happy about his story line but I thought the second movie was horrible I was actually rooting for the villain. Adam Driver is a bigger and sexier star so he was going to get more screen time.

Boyega did get screwed and it started from the very beginning. TFA had him experience a traumatic event which makes his character defect, but it’s all forgotten when he finds Rey and just follows her around. TFA marketed and promoted him in posters and tv spots as their new Jedi and by the end they do a bait and switch and give it to Rey. In TLJ he has development and actually realizes he wants to stay with the resistance. It was a great setup for him to lead a stormtrooper rebellion. And then JJ just has him running around in TROS screaming REY! With nothing else to do. Finn had a lot of potential. I don’t know why he would defend JJ after all this.
