Who was best dressed? Supporting Actress Edition

Our Best Supporting Actress obsesssion manifests itself in our longest running series, the Smackdown. But we've already covered this season's battle. Kirsten Dunst won the Smackdown but it was Ariana DeBose who took the Oscar as expected? (Wasn't her speech beautiful?) Now who gets your vote for Best Supporting Actress Best Dressed? You know you want to vote! Comments welcome, too. Why'd you choose which gown?

Okay, I'll give it a shot.

Ariana's doesn't fit well, and Jessie's is a wrinkled mess (sorry!). Dame Judi looks nice but a bit blah (and a bit cult member). Aunjanue looks as though her dress is wearing her. So for me, Kirsten Dunst looks the best. Her dress looks like it will hold up well. It's both comfortable and rich looking.

This is the first awards show where I've liked what Ariana has worn.

But Kiki looks beautiful and stunning. I wish she had won.

If we're using best dressed for Best Actress, Penelope should also have won!

Judging from these photos: Aunjanue Ellis.

I gave it to Aunjanue, but it's really for being the most improved. The dress fits her better than anything else she's worn all season and every element of the styling was on-point. Sure, it's the least adventurous of her looks, but it's also the most flattering. She nailed it.

Kiki would be my number 2.

Since she was one of the very, VERY few who didn't choose Red or Black, and also because I liked it, Aunjanue Ellis for the win!

Dame Judi by a mile.

Ariana's neckline is very unflattering.

Jessie Buckley is so coming back (hopefully to win)

Kirsten is my pick here. So romantic and impeccable... and it's vintage!

That said this it the BEST Aunjanue has looked all season and it's such a great GREAT look on her. And while the fit is wonky on Ariana, I think it's a perfect vibe for HER. She worked that cape just so the way a dancer does and it was fun!

Dame Judi last. You guys, she's 90! What were you expecting? A Thierry Mugler harness?

I voted for Dame Judi by default. Ellis and Dunst look like cakes, DeBose's top doesn't fit, and Buckley is a disaster. One of the worst-dressed categories in awhile.

Dame Judi keeps it classy and age-appropriate.

Ariana but she looked much better at BAFTA.
