First & Last 033

Can you guess the movie from its first and last shot?

This one recently got a sequel and the answer is after the jump once you scroll down...

That's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). I had totally forgotten about this movie (seriously) until the new title Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny arrived and referenced it. Crystal Skull is on Disney+ but there's no confirmation on when Dial of Destiny is coming (though most people believe it'll be soon).

I'd recognize that CGI mole hill anywhere. (Why did they use CGI to make a mole hill?!) Enjoyed lots of the first half of this movie but after that...best left unsaid. Dial of Destiny however I found to be quite fun and touching and smart.

This film is way better than people give it credit for. You eliminate a few silly basketball stars unblocked's CGI-infested scenes in the second half and this isn't bad at all in my opinion. The first hour is a 9/10.

Exploring national cultures through these movies is really interesting. I find it portrayed quite perfectly and conveys the characteristics well. Access to the sentences and their origins snake io
