Antonio Banderas, Ham. Ryan Gosling, Driven.
Gee, do you think Antonio Banderas is glad to be back in an Pedro Almodóvar picture or what? Here he is posing for photographs at Cannes with his The Skin I Live In co-star Elena Anaya (Talk to Her) and Pedro himself (cutest director/muse picture of 2011?). Photos via Zimbio via Getty Europe.
In other Cannes news, Off LVT that is, though we haven't yet seen premiere photos, Ryan Gosling's vehicle Drive, has been seen by critics. Which prompted this hilarious tweet from In Contention's Guy Lodge.
DRIVE (A-) I won't lie to you: I pretty much want to have sex with this movie. Hot, clipped, nasty, beautiful. Best thing in competition.
I told him if he'd only film that, he'd take fanfic to a whole new level.
In just a few more days we'll know who takes Best Actor, Best Actress and the Palme D'Or. Any bets?

I want to have sex with Ryan Gosling. Real bad. But then again, so does everybody else. 2011 has been a wet dream so far--Blue Valentine, Crazy Stupid Love, Drive, Ides of March? Drool.
I'm so glad that Banderas is back. He hasn't done a real film in , like, forever. I can't wait to see the film, but then Almodóvar is my one an only.
The thought of having sex with Ryan Gosling and Guy Lodge together makes my man-parts twitch.
Best Actress: Tilda but maybe they'll give it to Dunst to tell von Nazier "we don't hate you that much."
But just let me say this and call me crazy as much as you want: They should have banned him when he killed that donkey for no reason. Not for this silly shit.
Banderas' ass is everything.

I really hope that the Cannes Jury will honour Melancholia in one way or another. Just so that the Board of Directors gets the FU they deserve.
Is he wearing acid-washed jeans? Those are soooo '80's. (I must have been emotionally scarred during that decade and experiencing satorial PTSD? I can't see the cute because those jeans are blinding me.)
Aw, Antonio! Good for him. I can't wait for the film, great or otherwise.
As for the prizes -- does anyone else think the jury will wanna pay their respects and honor The Tree of Life with the Palme d'Or after all? I think La Havre, The Artist and We Need to Talk About Kevin will definitely make the cut for one (or multiple) of the seven juried prizes.
That two minute clip teaser made me wanna see Drive, these reviews now mean I MUST.
