Say What, "Lovelace"?

Amuse us by adding dialogue or a caption* to this first image of Peter Sarsgaard and Amanda Seyfried in Lovelace (2012) a biopic about the porn star of infamous Deep Throat fame.

The film will be directed by Oscar winning documentarian Rob Epstein and Emmy winner Jeffrey Friedman and will co-star Hank Azaria, Wes Bentley, James Franco, Demi Moore (as Gloria Steinem!), Robert Patrick, Eric Roberts, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple. [Note: This is not the same Linda Lovelace biopic that Lindsay Lohan was supposed to star in in one of those hallucinatory moments when it looked like she might get her shit together. That competing bio will star Malin Akerman.]

Her: "It's not as big as he thinks it is."

Him: "Yeah it is."

This seems like the My Week With Marilyn with the other Lovelace pic being the Naomi Watts Marilyn Monroe biopic, lol. Maybe Amanda Seyfried will get some traction for this. Who knows.

well, Peter Sarsgaard tends to get his ladies nominated, hey Hilary Swank, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Carey Mulligan. Watch him never get a nom though :/

This picture reminds me of the Kristin Wiig/Jon Hamm scene in Bridesmaids.

Kristin Wiig thinks she's finally on her way home and Jon Hamm says 'How bout' a lap nap?

Can't be excited for it because Rose McGowan, who is my weird obsession, was slated to play this before pulling out.

also, Nathaniel, when is the next batch of Film Bitch Awards gonna be announced?

Seyfried > Akerman.

Although I do have to admit, the first thing I'd seen of hers that didn't bore me to tears was her work in The Romantics. Which wasn't even that good of a film, (how I wish Liv Tyler had stayed in the Holmes role!)

She: Sorry, mom.

He: Sorry, Colin Firth.

Epstein and Friedman's documentaries are amazing and everyone should watch them but I recently saw How, they're first work of "fiction" and it bored me to death. Let's hope they get it right this time because I do like Sarsgaard and Seyfried.

Them: You wish you had our characters' sex lives, right?
Me: Well, my brother might. I don't care what you get up to in the bedroom either way.

Jonathon - Damn! I wish Rose had gotten it. :/

Will Saarsgard be naked in this new film?

I think it's hilarious that we live in a world were competing biopics of a one Linda Lovelace, of all people, are a real thing.

Isn't it too soon to make a nostalgic That 70's Show movie?

It is the return of those 90's diva box office hitters Moore & Stone, does anyone remember when along with Ryan,Roberts and Bullock they ruled the planet!!!

January 8, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterMARK
