COMMENT DU JOUR
Supporting Actress: My Ballot & Yours

"Carrie Coon who in her screen debut steals Gone Girl from the much bigger names. Also can we just talk about how between Nora Durst and Margo Dunne that no one has as impressive a breakout in 2014 then Coon. " - Eion Daly

"Agata Kulesza blew my MIND in "Ida," so she easily gets my top ballot." - Lawson

"Keira Knightley. She just seemed like that rare person who can make you want to be better. So endearing, charming and she also has moments where she shows that she knows more about the world. A silent revolutionary." - MCV

Beauty Break: It's Vera Farmiga. Fan Yourself!

I met Vera once for an interview, and I can verify that she is a vision in person... the startling eyes. the skin. the hotness. the shoes! (she was rocking a pair of heels she'd literally JUST bought before the interview) so today on her 40th birthday let's wish her all the happiness.

And does anybody look better in fanned collars or gowns? Witness!

I think Vera and the girl from Martha Marcy May Marlene could be mother and daughter!

She is so so so so hot. She's kind of got that Michelle Pfeiffery woman's woman thing going on and I love her for it. I wish she were in more and I wish there were more actresses like her.

When I was watching The Conjuring, all I could think about was how bloody gorgeous Vera Farmiga is. I liked the movie quite a lot, but what was *really* scary is how beautiful she is!

I love her ... want to see The Conjuring .. love her on Bates Motel ( hoping for an Emmy, but don't think so... even though she is the best of the nominees IMO

I love her in "Up in the Air." If not for the juggernaut that was Mo'Nique's Mary, she would have been my best supporting actress of 2009 -- or at least tied with Marion Cotillard in "Nine."

Lovely actress, scary dress.

Her fuchsia Oscar dress is the best of everything. Standing O.
