Back "2" School Again!

Dancin' Dan here to welcome you all to 'Back To School' Month at The Film Experience! We'll be sharing our favorite moments from cinema's schools all month.

Has there been a better back-to-school anthem than the opening number of Grease 2? I just love it.

Of course, it was always my fantasy to return to high school on the first day back from summer break and have the entire student body descend upon the front doors with a crazily-choreographed, flawlessly-danced production number, but that's just me. I mostly just settled for a snazzy outfit instead. Usually with a bow tie.

Any fond memories of the first day of school you'd like to share?

OMG Grease 2! Yessss!! I recently just hosted a Grease 2 drinking game party so I'm feeling the love. Michelle Pfeiffer has no right being as cool as she is in that silly silly movie.

First day of school memories? My first day of college I was scheduled for calculus class and got lost in the science building and arrived to the room late. I was so panicked, I didn't pay attention to what the professor was saying for like five minutes until he turned to me and asked a question. It was not in English. Turns out I had wandered into an Italian class without knowing it. So I took it as divine intervention and never took math again.

TB - YES! Michelle is impossibly cool in this movie. I wish she would do more musicals.

It’s fun to imagine a grand, choreographed welcome on the first day of school, but it sounds like you made the most of it with your snazzy outfits and bow ties! Adding a personal touch like that can really make the return to school special. If you're looking to capture this sense of individual style and enthusiasm in your thesis https://essaypro.com/write-my-thesis , consider highlighting how personal expressions and traditions can impact our experiences and connections in school settings.
