COMMENT(s) DU JOUR
Amy Adams for Janis Joplin

"It's baffling to me that Amy Adams will potentially have as many nominations as Blanchett, Winslet, Maggie Smith, Vanessa Redgrave, Thelma Ritter, Deborah Kerr, Sissy Spacek, and Glenn Close. This is weird, right?" -Aaron

"What is happening with Nina Arianda's Janis film with Sean Durkin? It's still listed as "announced" on her IMDB. Are we to assumed that it is a lost cause?" -Ryan

Cinema Blend 50 Shades of Grey gets one of those exceptionally lazy and ubiquitous 'back to camera in silhouette' teaser posters. THIS MUST END. Every time a studio releases one of these I fear a mass suicide by graphic designers. (This is all they ever get to do now?)

I hope that live-action movie of "Ghost in the shell" doesn't end up:
A) white-washed
B) making the leading characters caucasian and the supporting ethnic
C) being made, because what's gonna happen is either A) or B)

Variety's article is a must-read.

Hmm... I really want a Jesse Owens biopic or even just focusing on the aspects/procedurals during 1936 Berlin Olympics but Stephen Hopkins? That title? I just don't know.
