Between the podcast picture and Joe's professor comment, it's almost as if you're trolling Nick. And when he's sick to boot!
I really agree that Fox Searchlight should release The Birth of a Nation in May.
I'm very curious how Netflix and Amazon figure into film distribution/discussion over the next couple years.
I guess everything Leonardo does is such a big deal.
Wait, what happened to the Top 10 podcast?
Daniel Radcliffe as a "farting corpse with a boner movie."
Brie Larson has nothing to worry about from the internet hating her. Nor the industry not knowing what to do with her. She reminds me of Michelle Williams. Talented and unassuming in their visual appeal as actresses and a complete lack of caring to compete for gatekeepers' attention for nothing roles which pay the big bucks. She's completely respectable and has the chops to justify any and all serious award accolades.
Out here on the left coast, we SAG members (which means me, myself & I) watch everything we can before voting, and there's still too much to see (among the TV nominations). Not to mention the unavailability of some of the nominated work. (And after watching the first few minutes of The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, I had to turn it off.)
And, Nat, I finally watched part of an episode of Downton Abbey and it's a soap! (And a kind of boring soap.) I thought you hated soaps...
PS. KATIE Scarlett O'Hara, hello?
"Awardsernet".
Disappointed you didn't talk about Lori Petty's outrageous SAG awards get up.
Speaking of Manchester by the Sea ... it had great reviews (specially for Affleck), but how do you guys think its getting picked up by Amazon will affect its distribution and (possible) awards prospects?
Great podcast, but I'm with Jake D - we were promised Top 10s! :)
Carlos, Amazon will partner with an actual studio for theatrical distribution.
3rtful - ah, missed that part of the news. Thanks!
Someone needs to defend vaping against the annoyance it raised for the four of you... I mean, drinking in public is treated as sort of cute but a puff of weed is still considered transgressive?
Hi, i have a question, would it be possible to tell us which clips would you choose from the nominated performances on oscar night?
You guys mentioned there was a follow-up in the works to the Lizzie Borden movie. Here's the crazy part: Ricci's nomination is FROM the follow-up!
THE LIZZIE BORDEN CHRONICLES is the 2015 miniseries follow-up to the TV movie LIZZIE BORDEN TOOK AN AX from the year before!
Great podcast as ever. I hope there is a surprise in one of the acting categories at the Oscars. Rachel McAdams would be a pleasant surprise.
