I don't think I'll watch Moment by Moment through the same lens again (assuming I do have the courage to watch it again). To be fair, Travolta did bounce back with Urban Cowboy though not with the flair associated with Fever or Grease.

I don't buy that MTV article's argument. Jon Hamm is has strong comedic skills.

TWD has Black women kicking but and taking names, which is pretty obsolete in the genre.

I understand why some people are not drawn to The Walking Dead, but since its fourth season, it really has become an incredible show of story telling. Like Farrah said, it also has two extremely kick ass, black women (along with many other actors of color, men and women, gay/straight) who are all very developed and compelling in my opinion. I bet your You really need to check it out-- one episode in particular, 'The Grove' features Melissa McBride, who should have her own column on this website. :)

Tom and Lorenzo had some photos of Sarandon and Lange from the set of Feud about a month ago and... neither of them looked much like Davis or Crawford (in fact, surprisingly, Lange looked more like Crawford than Sarandon looked like Davis). I dunno, forgive me for saying this, but it appeared to be something of a low-rent operation as far as styling was concerned.

@ Suzanne
The photos linked to here of Sarandon as Baby Jane are working for me.

Exactly, TWD is by no means perfect it definitely could be better. However, the fact that we have almost every representation Black, Asian, Hispanic , LGBT and older actors/ actresses who are not side characters or stereotypes is something. I mean the most popular female character on the show is a dark skinned Black woman with dreadlocks how cool is that. The second most popular woman is a White woman who is in her late 40s early 50s.
