That Jennifer Garner piece is really fascinating. The title is I think a little troublesome to a lot of people and I think that's why the article is garnering (heh) some ire in certain circles. I suspect people are reading the headline and not the article in its entirety, but it's really worth reading the whole thing.
"Imposing but not fun" (aka C+ to C-) seems to be the consensus view on Bats v. Supes. But I'm still waiting for a writer I like reading to review it.
I read the Pajiba article on bad singing in movie musicals and immediately wondered what your response might be.
Ewan McGregor is one of my favorite musical performances ever.
That Jennifer Garner piece is FANTASTIC. A lot that I had forgotten about, and that makes her recent film roles make all the more sense. Perhaps this is always how she saw her future (minus such a "complicated" husband)?
