Hmm, I saw that Javier remark worded exactly the same elsewhere.... on my website, actually.
That Vardalos idea is really interesting, and sort of makes me think that broadcast television is kind of ridiculous and deserves its own grave. This is such a good idea for a series, and yet I'm willing to guarantee they'd turn it down for yet another show about cops, lawyers, or doctors.
Now that is a great poster- yes why remake F W Murnau's "Nosferatu" (1922)?
Why give Nosferatu another spin? Because 'The Witch ' was all kinds of awesome and Eggers had earned the right to do so, if any permission was needed anyway. I will go on adding Herzog's remake had amazing faces and a superior soundtrack and that was it.
Thank goodness for Riz Ahmed and Dee Rees existing in this world.
Aaron Carter is a has-been that announced his bisexuality for attention while making excuses about his drug use and such. Fuck that little shit.
thevoid99: Why are you so angry at Aaron Carter? What's he ever done to you? "Fuck that little shit" - really?
No mention of Todd Haynes doing a velvet underground doc. I'm disappointed. Maybe I'm the only one here that's excited about this. One of my favorite directors doing a doc about one of my favorite bands and they're a perfect match for each other.
