Hello Linky
Just two handfuls of links this morning. I'm still on my birthday tear for Tony weekend -- finally saw Hello, Dolly! on Broadway last night with Bernadette Peters and as usual she was an adorable diva. Laughed my ass off. A friend of mine revealed that he had already seen the show four times to see all three leading ladies (Bette, Donna Murphy x 2, Bernadette). Bette returns to the show (with the magical Donna Murphy on Bette's off days since Bette can't handle 8 shows a week) on July 17th. I don't have the funds for three trips but would definitely see again if the chance occurs.

Holy shit. Mark Rylance, what a cutie.
No celebration of the fact that Emma Thompson is finally Dame Emma Thompson?
(I know, she always was to us, but now she is officially.)
I only wish you had linked to the Beatrice Dalle interview in The Guardian this week. Sample quotes:
"Rupert [Everett] is gay, but I am Beatrice Dalle."
"I want to do all that a man can do, but much better"
It seems unfair that a few stylists (Love Delta and Raven—werk!) get Emmy credit for approximately 1/15 of the hair and makeup we see on Drag Race. I’m never a fan of nominations for 20 people but it’s really a village of creativity on RPDR.
OMG way to bury the lede with Corey Stoll in full leather. Hot damn.
And find every penny under the couch that you can to see Bette Midler in Hello Dolly. It's an event.
Do the SRO tickets for Bette - easily worth the waiting around for a couple hours and fantastic "seats" without breaking the bank.
I made the link roundup! What a thrill! (I said that in my Marcia Gay Harden Oscar voice. Thanks, Nathaniel!)
