If Kit Harrington wins, I-
Right? Harrington is decent. But that's it.
Nat: All I have to say about Brandon Routh doing CW Superman? JUSTICE! Brandon Routh wasn't the problem with Superman Returns.
I’ll be surprised if any of the Game of Thrones actors (van Houten & Dinklage excluded) ever prove as good as that show’s fans seem to think they are ever again. It’s truly perplexing to me, even by the standards of soap operas, how bland or inexpressive they often were on the show relative to the praise they received.
I forgot the wonderful Dame Diana Rigg as Lady Olenna Tyrell. She fully grapsed the show she was on and was never less than entertaining.
Am I in that small minority that actually liked Superman Returns despite the horror that is Bryan Singer?
I think Superman Returns gets a bad rap and that rap will only get worse in coming years (Singer, Spacey, etc). I think Routh did a fairly charming job and didn't buckle under the weight and expectations fo the role. The movie is beautifully shot and has some great set pieces. Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane on the other hand.....
I love Euphoria. I'm hooked.
The Kore-eda movie sounds like the type of thing I'm going to love.
I never saw Brandon Routh as Superman, but I love him on “Legends of Tomorrow”. He has such great comic timing and inflections, and really knows how to work with another actor to build something interesting.
Tyler Hoechlin, who guests as Superman on “Supergirl”, is a delight. He totally subscribes to the Christopher Reeve interpretation of the part.
The crossover seems like fun, although I don’t watch all the shows. Legends of Tomorrow, always (such fun); Flash, usually (good ensemble); Arrow, never; Supergirl, off and on - the show’s vision of a tormented country can go down some strange by-ways. Ruby Rose: always.
Billie Piper also has four or five rock solid pop singles to her credit. I've long said she is the best pop star there ever was for those four minutes that "Day and Night" plays.
*several* Emmy categories need an overhaul. Danielle Solzy wrote a piece about their absurd documentary category in which four of this year's Oscar nominees are also Emmy nominees while documentaries made for TV continue to get ignored.
