We hope you're voting daily on the Oscar charts and investigating all the trivia and 'how'd they get nominated?' theorizing. Obviously there will be much Oscar hoopla including Honorary Oscar miniseries on Samuel L Jackson and Liv Ullmann and the first episode of the new season of Supporting Actress Smackdown. You can also expect discussions of new films The Batman, After Yang, Turning Red, and The Lost City. Have any silent movies been featured on Hit Me With Your Best Shot yet? If not, next month is the 100th anniversary of Nosferatu, which has a plethora of iconic shots to choose from.

Also, quick reaction to SAG winners: Belfast’s chances seem pretty much dead now. It might even go home empty-handed on Oscar night. Is CODA the biggest threat to Power of the Dog’s Best Picture win?

Edwin, yes. we've done a few silent films. PANDORA'S BOX for sure. I think we also did a Chaplin... maybe THE CIRCUS? and one other? but NOSFERATU is a great idea.
