The Gilded Age is my favorite TV show where actresses that will at one point have played Martha in Virginia Woolf are asked to deliver Wikipedia entries as period dialogue.

Here’s Dame Judi Dench stating her performance in “NOTES ON A SCANDAL” as one of her favorite roles. I agree. It might be her best film role too. ❤️🔥pic.twitter.com/49cAyo9hAn

/PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED/ (1986, Coppola, ***1/2) When I was a little kid I thought this movie was so funny and now I'm old enough to realize it's almost unbearably sad.

Variety is exclusively reporting that 'Dune' stars Jason Momoa and Josh Brolin are close to signing deals to be the only presenters during the pre-live show 'first hour' of Oscars. The irony is staggering. #Oscars

Why are the Oscars trying to appeal to some imaginary 19-year-old straight dude and not the 33-year-old real adult woman who hosts an Oscar party every year (me)

Check out this thread on audition photos for MAD MAX FURY ROAD...
My book "Blood, Sweat & Chrome: The Wild & True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road" has been out for a month! Let's celebrate that with some never-before-seen casting photos. Here's Gal Gadot from her London audition to play Furiosa. (And she almost got the role.) pic.twitter.com/eApdG5HeQG

There's no BUT!!!
Your only job is to vote for the film you think it's better. It's that simple. What's wrong with those people? https://t.co/NJTjisSMbl
Absolutely mind boggling how many people think Power of the Dog is supposed to be a straight forward western. Like of course Benedict feels fake that's the point of the movie!!!!! https://t.co/pwrtZyjwSZ

This is one of those "brutally honest" Oscar ballots from some anonymous producer, and, you know, shutting the fuck up is actually an option. pic.twitter.com/thP2wTgkiW

Say you’re an Oscar nominee reading that latest anonymous ballot by a knuckle-dragging bigot who can’t tell the difference between his TV and his microwave, and he says he’s voting for you — do you pump your fist, or feel you’ve somehow failed?

Dame Judi Dench's taste in unfairly losing Oscar performances is all I needed in life today.
I'll never understand the urge to be a brutally honest voter, the urge to publish them, or the urge to read them. But whoever finds them knows exactly who they're looking for.
It makes me happy that Anne has come out the other side of that weird moment and is seen as the beloved movie star she always deserved to be.
I’m always a little embarrassed when one of those Brutally Honest Oscar Voters has the same preference as me because for the most part they’re such idiots.
Queen Anne.... We should all call her Queen Anne Hathaway. Man, she's awesome. Fuck these Hatha-haters. Anyone who disses the Queen is going to have to answer to her and... THE BULLET CLUB.
I agree with John Waters.
All these comments about Turning Red from dudes have me thinking this.... "what a bunch of whiny vagina boys". I still haven't seen the movie yet but I hope to soon.
I've grown to hate these brutally honest ballots. They mess with my predictions and with my faith in the human race.
