• Backstage Psychological drama Mothers Instinct starring Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain was announced last year but since there hadn't been any movement we assumed it was off. Not so. Production starts this summer so expect it in 2023

I haven't seen his recent work but I do hope to catch up as I do appreciate the fact that even if he's in a bad movie. He'll at least give it his all knowing that it's a job but he's good at what he does.
Sam Elliott apologized. I mean, apologies accepted, but he really said some dumb things just when the tide was turning against the best movie of the race.
I have so much respect for Cameron Diaz's decision to retire.
You can't touch the level of stardom she attained or how thoroughly she earned it by force of charisma and talent. She brought so much joy to the screen, a singular face and comic presence who is utterly iconic to anyone who lived through that time.
The Eric Kohn article is interesting. It was always obvious to me that agents pushed their clients to the lucrative projects, but I'd never seen such explicit confirmation that the big agencies completely side-step small independent productions for their clients.
