90s movie reference humor for the win
I've gotten some confusing messages about zombies recently, so let's clear this up: my story is Dead Man Walking, not The Walking Dead!

After the jump Barbra Stanwyck, Christopher Nolan's "perfection," Evita's MPAA rating, two Indiana Jones references and more ...

Not interested in any total-eclipse-preparation news report that doesn't interview Dolores Claiborne.

80's movies contain brief glimpses of graphic nudity and earned ratings under R.
Just realized that Bening could have won a deserved Oscar for TKAAR, and Natalie would have won deservedly for Jackie. Then Emma Stone would be Oscar-less and the world would have been better off.
The summer is the WORST. Who wants to be sweaty all the time? I can't sleep in the heat. Plus I look better in a coat.
That Helen Prejean tweet is genius.
The Patton Oswalt Indiana Jones is great too!
I love the "Zardoz" joke- a crazed sci-fi movie that everyone should see at least once- yeah I never understood the men wearing shorts in the shower scene- was this just to avoid a R rating?
That eclipse scene in Dolores Claiborne was awesome!
If you lived in DC, you would be praying for summer to end. This DC summer has been a murky bog emitting humid fumes that sticks to you like a bad venereal disease. And that's just the stuff coming from the White House. The weather has been gross too.
As unreal as it looks in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, this is the only Barcelona I want to see in the news.

It's been seven years already.
That Stanwyck list is great - women supporting other women!
That dinner scene in TKAAR is everything. Just the whole thing is one of my favorite sequences in film ever. God I so want to drink wine with Bening.
@jaragon - maybe, but couldn't they just have filmed them from the waist up?
Henceforth, whenever my Top Ten of anything list includes more than 10 because I simply cannot make up my mind, I shall point to that Barbara Stanwyck list and say, "If Barbara Stanwyck had no care for numbers, then neither shall I!"
