What's on your cinematic mind?
Apologies for the lack of a morning post. Rearranging our schedules a bit at TFE HQ. More soon. In the meantime, what movie are you thinking about RIGHT NOW?

THANKS IN ADVANCE
Apologies for the lack of a morning post. Rearranging our schedules a bit at TFE HQ. More soon. In the meantime, what movie are you thinking about RIGHT NOW?
This weekend, in a fit of extreme laziness and desire to stay right next to the air conditioner, I turned into one of those people who binge-watches a whole season of TV. (I'm not judging, it's just not how I personally do television). The show was Amazon's scifi comedy and socioeconomic satire Upload. It's quite uneven in its laughs and execution -- a giant suspension of disbelief is necessary for its premise of life after death via technological upload, but the 'rules' within the show's universe were ridiculously inconsistent -- but overall I found it endearing and loved the female lead, Cameroonian-American actress Andy Allo. Have any of you watched?
What have you been watching? Please say "1991's Oscar nominees". The Smackdown is on Sunday!
Without an ongoing movie culture these days to keep us busy we imagine everyone's thoughts are all over the place. So what movies or television shows are YOU thinking of today? My mind was hopping around between You Can Count on Me (2000), Where is Kyra (2018), Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962) and Never Have I Ever (2020) today.
We're worried about everyone's mental health. How are you doing during this astonishingly strange moment in our collective history? What new things have you discovered about your home while shut in? Which things do you miss most about the outside world? How are you preventing feeling too isolated? Share tips in the comments.
As for us we're finding virtual happy hours with friends on zoom, skype, or facetime are helping a lot. As is chasing whatever filmic obsessions occur and list-making (April Foolish Oscar Predictions coming very soon... even though we really don't know which films will arrive this year given the shutdown).
Bear with us through today's lunchtime poll which is NOT about whose side Marriage Story takes (the hot takes are abundant online and it's exhausting) but about which side you'd take --not Nicole's or Charlies -- this Q takes a second to get your head around but it's fun and totally worth asking for those of us who live for the movies:
If you had to divorce Marriage Story, what part of the movie would you want custody of ?
We couldn't help but ask Team Experience this question too so there answers are after the jump to get your started...
