Queen Ingrith Tease

Since it's only (haha) 477 days until Maleficent 2 hits theaters, Michelle Pfeiffer gave us a sneak peek of her character Queen Ingrith on Instagram. We don't know if she's a fairy queen or just a regular queen yet but we hope a fairy queen because how many actresses can say they've played fairy royalty twice? (see also: Titania, Queen of the Fairies, in A Midsummer Night's Dream, 1999)

Happy 25th anniversary (again) to Michelle & David

We celebrated Michelle Pfeiffer & David E Kelley's 25th wedding anniversary on its proper day back in November but it's worth pointing out that the notoriously private actress has suddenly joined Instagram! On the day she joined I must have received 100 private messages about it. Y'all know me so well. So far she's posted three things: a Catwoman clip, a video of her cat licking her face (the cuteness!), and this photo of her 25th anniversary dinner. Go take a look and follow our pforever pfavourite. 

P.S. Honestly, we thought she was the least likely of all iconic actresses to ever join social media.  Care to conjecture who convinced her to do this? Kids? Management? Maleficent 2's PR team? Superstar peers?

Jeff Bridges to receive the Cecil B DeMille Award

A long time ago in a Hollywood far far away he was just another promising golden boy, one of Hollywood's hometown sons. Over his very impressive nearly 50 year movie career, though, Jeff Bridges became a true legend of his own. In fact, if he didn't make nepotism jokes at awards shows, people might have all but forgotten by now his early leg up in showbiz from TV star dad Lloyd Bridges. 

Today comes word that his legend status grows larger yet still. In a couple of weeks at the Golden Globes he'll be honored with this year's Cecil B DeMille Award...
