Answer me these questions three:
- How much do you love both of these men?
- What do you suppose they were saying to each other here?
- Which Ang Lee movie do you think Daniel Day-Lewis loves most?

Oh God The Buzzfeed coverage is so funny! I forgot Riva got confused with David O. Russell. Such a weird in a good way show. It will be remembered.
The reaction to Seth MacFarlane's hosting is really over the top. Ok, he didn't do a great job, but no one has since Jackman, and the internet is pretending like EVERY. LITTLE. THING. he did was AWFULLL. That's how it comes off and that's really not how it was.
And the political correctness is why we can't have good things in the world. Gawker is framing it like he made light of rape or abuse. What they're really referring to is him making fun of two incredibly wealthy and popular celebrities who are in a consensual relationship with each other even though one of them is publicly abusive. Big deal.
I'm glad I'm not alone though. Reading the comments on that Gawker post, it's clear people actually enjoyed his show.
The real important question in the Day-Lewis & Lee photo is: When are these two going to work together?
Aw, this pic is adorable! It is the first one I see from the after parties, but it will be very hard to be topped.
I haven't seen enough of DDL work to love him, but I LOVE Ang Lee and his win made me happy although I hoped for Hanecke.
I absolutely concur regarding Seth McFarlane's performance. I enjoyed this year's telecast more than I have any in recent memory. It's obvious that some people were prepared to dislike his hosting on general principle.
What now for Day Lewis retire for a bit then came back in and play ummm i dunno what he will do now.
DDL and Meryl should play eachother in biopics.
I don't know what Ang Lee film is DDL's favorite but I have this nagging feeling that Ang Lee's favorite DDl movie is "A Room with a View" I don't have anything to back it up but I still feel confident in that prediction.
I would agree that Ang Lee's favorite Day-Lewis film is likely A Room with a View -- it feels too like an aesthetic cousin of Lee's Sense and Sensibility for that not to be the case.
I, too, am dying to see them work together. I've been an Ang Lee devotee for a long, long time, and a DDL devotee for far longer still.
@Mel - That was my exact thought as well and "A Room with a View" is a much better film than its stuffy reputation would have one believe.
Also I would love to see them work so much, I wouldn't care if it was a remake of "Battlefield Earth" if these two were involved I'd be there.
I'm guessing The Unbearable Lightness of Being - a bit sexy, a bit political, a bit philosophical. Ang Lee could probably relate to that.
I'd say Ang's favorite DDL picture is My Beautiful Laundrette, as is mine.
Dave & Edward, thanks for guessing! Both seem like plausible favorites for Ang.
Sadman -- YESSSSSS A THOUSAND TIMES YES.
I'm gonna guess DDL loved The Ice Storm the most.
