SPRING PREVIEW
But you shouldn't go anywhere after the Oscars because new hit series like Seasons of Bette and A Year with Kate and Beauty vs Beast continue along with other spring surprises, the Tribeca Film Festival, the return of "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and the return of Mad Men at the Movies as the show enters its final bifurcated season. Plus special anniversary parties for Heathers (25th), Mean Girls (10th) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (10th) and Wuthering Heights (75th), and as well as our APRIL FOOLISH 2014 PREDICTIONS... and possibly the return of "Actress Psychic" as we start all over again. So like us on Facebook, follow Nathaniel on Twitter and don't miss anything.
But back to this Oscar season. Your final Oscar Voting pleas in the comments. If you could sway just one category in a new direction, it'd be...

In a new direction? Her, for Production Design.
Smackdown?
Wow, didn't realize the voting didn't begin until now. If there are surprises at BAFTA, I'll bet they are big factors in the Oscar vote.
Force the academy to admit they fucked up and give the Best Cinematography Oscar to 12 Years a Slave.
MDA -- write in votes!
I still think Hanks should be up for Best Actor.
I was actually coming on here to say, "Yay Hit Me With Your Best Shot!" but I'll second ScottC's comment. Her for Production Design! If ever there was a future world that I thought could actually exist, it was that one.
Cooper for supporting.
I'd say BEFORE MIDNIGHT for Adapted Screenplay. That would bring me so much joy... and also this is assuming HER gets Original Screenplay.
Does Gena Rowlands for Honorary Oscar count?
Ok, I want Delbonnel to win.
Off the top of my head, I want more sway toward Bruce Dern for Best Actor...and my ultimate wish would be that he tie with Chiwetel. THIS is a tie that is deserved, and we haven't had one for Best Actor for 82 years. I think it's time.
Also, please let American Hustle go home empty-handed.
And I hope the Supporting Actress Smackdown?
Also would love you guys to continue the podcast through the summer and forever and ever.
Leo for Best Actor, please.
Couldn't possibly happen, but I would love to see Her win BP!
yeah, agreed re: new direction... HER for Production Design.
and i just can't believe i'm in full agreement on *all four* frontrunners in the acting races. Blanchett, McConaughey, Nyong'o, Leto... it's like 2007 all over again and i LOVE it!
screw the oscars, bring on the Film Bitch Award!!!! :)
Write-in votes? Redford for Best Actor. But I'd settle for anyone but the frontrunner.
Pharrell wins Best Song for "Happy" and DiCaprio wins Best Actor.
I am also hoping for two things: 1) you and the gang do a podcast between now and the Oscar finale, and 2) this year, you also celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Abyss.
Actress Psychic!!!! *.*
Lana Del Rey is written in for Best Original Song. Haha, but on a serious note, I'd probably say Steve McQueen winning Director. Or a tie between him and Cuaron would be nice and fair, I think.
I'd like Leo or Chiewetel for Actor (still haven't seen Nebraska). Cate Blanchett deserves to win. Lupita better win. And I'd like a supporting actor surprise too, I'd probably go with Bradley Cooper. Or Michael Fassbender.
Tom Hanks
DICAPRIOOOO
What's gotten into me?
Like Ryan T., I'd like Before Midnight to win Best Adapted Screenplay.
