Get it? Oh reader, I LOL'ed and LOL'ed. Cannes fun follows after the jump but first some non-Cannes thoughts and amusements featuring Twin Peaks, Rooney Mara, Reservoir Dogs and more...
A Twin Peaks / West Wing crossover called "Fire Walk And Talk With Me" designed to destroy the very concept of Peak TV.

Rewatched The Social Network on the weekend and was reminded that Rooney Mara did all that with a small role pic.twitter.com/sbjFUdBbnU

POINTS FOR FUN MOVIE/TV REFERENCES
Asked a longtime House GOP staffer where things are headed. "This is like Reservoir Dogs. Everyone ends up dead on the floor."

"ALIEN COVENANT: girl, we couldn't Sigourney Be-Weave how good you looked! But in the challenge, you kinda spaced out.

Nicole Kidman, Catherine Deneuve, and Isabelle Huppert in a film by Pedro Almodovar..... SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TAKE ALL OF MY FUCKING MONEY!!!!!!
I'll never forgive my feed for not giving me more photos of Kim Min-hee this Cannes. She is perfection and I'm obsessed.
ok - i don't get it. "Sun-Cannes Place"? does this mean i lose my actresssexual membership card?
The photo of Ripley's daughter in the special edition of Aliens is Weaver's real life mother.
Rooney Mara should have been nominated for The Social Network. She was so great. If only anyone paid attention to actual supporting performances with that amount of screen time.
Would have been an ideal occupier of Bonham Carter's spot...just sayin'...........
I don't get the "Sun- Cannes Place" either. Is it a lyric?
C'mon guys, it's a pun on the "sunken place" from Get Out.
Nick and Robert's tweets were golden!
Is Elizabeth Moss a Scientologist? and she worked with notorious SP Nicole Kidman? Xenu's not going to like this..
I have LOL'ed at that picture of Isabelle Huppert all day.
That Kessler tweet is a work of art.
Not really into either Deneuve or Kidman, and kind of okay with Almodóvar, but I'd take any Huppert I can.
Also so far no sure why Kim Min-hee is getting the most exposition from "The Handmaiden" when Kim Tae-ri was much better than her in the movie.
Nick wins this. As he usually does...
Me34 --- I'm sure it's because Kim Min-Hee has been famous for over a decade whereas Kim Tae-Ri was making her film debut... I expect Kim Tae-Ri will get more roles soon thanks to The Handmaiden. Or at least I hope so!
