You know about our "fantasy doll sets" and now we have more gowns to add to that imaginery collection! So it's time to talk about Best Actress fashion again. Who wowed you? Who disappointed you? Who gets your vote?

I *get* why she's losing so far, but I thought Olivia Colman BROUGHT it especially compared to her past Oscar looks. At the very least it also veers to something she doesn't usually wear which you can't really say the same about the other which seem to be wearing slight variations to the kinds of outfits they usually wear.

That said, I do love the Stewart went with hot pants and Chastain's look is really fun, but her after party dress, a lovely shiny green jewel of a dress, beats it out of the water.

Love Chastain in winners' gold, but subtle enough not to be embarrassing had she lost. (And her husband was the hottest accessory of the evening.)

Honestly? 5 perfect looks.

Nicole's look is exquisite and God knows I'm not a fan.

Jessica looked way better in green at the Vanity Fair party.

I love that the color palette of Jessica’s dress kinda reminds you of Tammy Faye’s makeup. She looked gorgeous, but she looked even better at the after party. I saw those pics and said “THAT’S a movie star!”

Nicole looked great, but it’s a familiar look for her.

I’m still mad at KStew for these shorts.

I'm not gonna lie, as a Chastain fan, I was really nervous she would wear something terrible. I was so glad she showed up looking great.

Colman is a solid #2 for me. Her hair is especially flattering.

Is this maybe the best-dressed Best Actress category ever? They all look absolutely stunning, with each bringing their own unique style and personality to their fashion choices in a way that makes you think no one else could pull off the same look. And no matter what anyone thinks about any one of the particular roles or films they were nominated for, this is a stellar lineup of terrific actresses who always deliver. Love all of them.

It's hard to put anyone in last place when they all look phenomenal, but I'd rank their Oscar fashion as such:
1. Chastain
2. Stewart
3. Colman
4. Kidman
5. Cruz

There were many more perfect choices the Kidman.... who looked like a cup and saucer.

Ryan T -- i also loved loved loved Colman's look. It's unexpected but so perfect for her.

Loved Chastain’s dress except for the feather boa ruffle at the bottom—that took it to a costumey place, otherwise such a modern and bold look.

These are all great. Chastain's dress was gorgeous and included some unexpected color combinations (purple and gold!) which you wouldn't necessarily expect to work, but did.

Kidman looked amazing. She's had so many iconic fashion moments that I feel like the bar is always so high for her, but she looked just lovely.

I think my favorite is Colman, though? This is my favorite look of hers ever.

Cruz is probably my least favorite of the bunch, but it's still good.
