Manuel here. Guys. There’s a bunch of new posters for the new Viola Davis movie! The two-time Oscar nominee may well be very busy with her TV gig, How to Get Away with Murder (anyone watching season 2? Did we jump prematurely from the never-quite sudsy enough show?), but she’ll next be seen in one of the Internet’s most anticipated films of the year: Suicide Squad.
The DC anti-heroes film released a number of gorgeous character posters ahead of the film's trailer premiere later this week, that had my mind reeling. [more...]
Manuel here. Every once in a while I like to check in on actresses I’ve been missing and see what they’re up to and what’s next. Last week, for example, I singled out Michelle Williams and was glad to see she has two promising films landing at Sundance. This week, I wanted to see when I’d get my next Penelope Cruz fix. Sadly, it looks like she’ll be spending 2016 doing press junkets for two comedies I have no real interest in.

Manuel here. It feels like just yesterday we were talking about Melissa McCarthy’s poster for Spy (a film we ♥ here at TFE given our love for Rose Byrne’s Rayna “sad clown” Boyanov). But here we are again with the latest poster for the upcoming film The Boss. Sadly, it is not about Judith Light which is immediately where my mind goes whenever said phrase is used. It is instead about a business mogul, Michelle Darnell, hoping to rebuild her empire after serving time.
