TFE's Fall Season
I feel like we need to start fresh. So let's pretend we've been off air for a few month and TFE's fall season starts Sunday October 20th, 8 PM EST. Any requests? If you love the blog please share articles on facebook or twitter. TFE has, strangely, a devout but possessive following. Don't keep things you love to yourself - share, tweet and like your favorites!
Sundays Box Office | Podcast
Mondays Monologues | Stage Door
Tuesdays Tues Top Ten | Curio
Wednesdays Reader Spotlight | Beauty Break
Thursdays AHS | Threads
Fridays Posterized | Q&A
Saturdays New Review
The schedule will be anchored by these dependable *cough* series -- roughly two regulars a day -- and jazzed up by dramatic experiments (ooooh), news (duh), silliness (hee), trailers (yes no maybe so), interviews (yassss!), oscarables (✓) and smackdowns (♥). Last but not least, we'll also mix in whatever topic we're currently focused on. For the rest of October that's the 1968 film year as we count down to the Smackdown! ... though you can help us stay regular with a "subscription" donation on the sidebar. Why? Time is literally money. I have a finite amount I can spend blogging unless rent is already paid.

"TFE has, strangely, a devout but possessive following".
Haha, that's actually pretty accurate. I guess we probably all assume that everyone's already reading you.
Can I just say how much I'm enjoying the insane amount of festival coverage you have going on this year?
How about retrospectives on each of the ladies vying for Actress, since we have a year of familiar faces? Favorite scenes, favorite lines, favorite screen partnering, embarrassing moments, roles we've likely forgotten or maybe never seen. It would be fun to do that for Cate, Sandra, Emma, Judi, Julia (still thinking she might go lead), Amy and of course, Meryl. Those seven would get us to the holidays at a one a week rate. You could have fans submit their answers in a few categories like the ones above too, and add a few responses. (Heck, throw in Greta, Julie and Brie for a thinking-outside-the-box top 10.)
But you were looking for articles, so I'll send those on Facebook. :)
Is a podcast going up tomorrow? That's exciting, I love the podcast!
oh man, that pic of Dunaway makes you yearn for more Dunaway bitchiness in another classic, doesn't it?
She's still one of a kind in that her 3 Oscar nominations take place in 3 unforgettable and unanimously adored films, however, I want more!
This schedule looks awesome and not just because it's means that there will be a podcast tomorrow! Solid features every day. The only suggestion I have is that you should get thee to a
nunneryscreening of Blue Is The Warmest Color ASAP. The actressing, oh the actressing! I fluctuate between thinking the movie is perfect and thinking the movie is a lovable mess, but either way it feels like a living text, something to get mad at, think about, discuss, debate, reevaluate. Hasn't left my mind for a second since my screening last week.@Yavor--Have you seen 3 Days Of The Condor? It's not totally great in its own right, but she is typically wonderful in it.
